The 2023 Bassoon Chamber Music Composition Competition (BCMCC) is open for compositions written for bassoon alone. Compositions should be single or multi-movement and between 8 and 12 minutes in duration. The winning work will be used in the 2025 Meg Quigley Vivaldi Competition and published through Imagine Music Publishing. Composers from around the world are welcome to apply, especially those that align with the mission of Meg Quigley. No entry fee. Online submissions accepted until October 1, 2023.
