The American Music Festival Composer's Workshop, held by the Albany Symphony in Troy, NY, focuses on composition for modern orchestra. Participants get a chance to refine orchestration techniques, study with experts, and present new works for a reading session. There is a special focus on Water Music New York in 2026, with the opportunity to commemorate the Erie Canal bicentennial. Eligible for US citizens/residents studying composition.
