Flexible schedule at multiple locations
Harmony Program teachers are responsible for teaching group instrumental music classes of elementary and middle school students. Teachers are expected to work two to five days a week during the after-school hours or in-school hours, depending on site, beginning in early October and ending in late May to June. Summer teaching opportunities may also be available. Teachers are compensated at an hourly rate. Additionally, we provide our teachers with up to 75 hours of professional development training, taught by experts in arts and education, paid by a stipend at the end of the school year. Topics covered include classroom management, lesson planning, instructional methods, diversity, equity, and inclusion, social-emotional learning, and more.
