The Society of Composers, Inc. is seeking submissions for the annual Jazz Composition Award. Composers must be SCI members and submit their work for consideration. The winning composer will receive a $500 prize. Works must be composed in the past 5 years for jazz ensembles with specific instrumentation. Original works only. Anonymous submissions must include a PDF score, mp3 recording, and a bio. The contest winner will be determined by external judges. Contact Greg Simon for more information or questions.
