The McKnight Composer Fellowships provide unrestricted cash awards to mid-career Minnesota artists in various creative disciplines. The program is committed to supporting diverse artists and projects. Four fellowships of $25,000 each will be awarded, subject to state and federal income tax guidelines. Fellows have the opportunity to attend an artist residency program and present their work at a showcase event. They also receive consultation and resources from the American Composers Forum and Springboard for the Arts. Eligible applicants must have sustained experience in their discipline and demonstrate achievement and commitment.
