The McKnight Visiting Composers Residency Program offers two $10,000 residencies for artists to respond to or reflect on the unique qualities of people and communities in Minnesota. The program lasts for approximately 30 days over an 18-month period, allowing composers to build relationships and work on projects. Applicants must have sustained experience in their discipline and must not have been a recipient of the McKnight Artist Fellowship or Residency within the last five award years. They must also live outside of Minnesota and have a US Social Security Number or US Tax ID. Application deadline is December 1, 2023.
