The U.S. Naval Academy Band is currently accepting woodwind scores to expand the repertoire of new works for our unique instrumentation. Up to three selected works will be professionally recorded in 2023 for release on social media and for composers’ personal use.

Instrumentation may be for standard woodwind chamber ensembles such as Clarinet Quartet, Wind Trio (Fl/Cl/Bsn), Wind Quartet (Fl/Cl/FH/Bsn), or full mixed chamber winds utilizing no more than the following:
1 Flute (substituting and/or doubling on piccolo, if desired), 4 B-flat Clarinets (substituting E-flat, A, Alto, and Bass, if desired), 2 Saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxophone are all options), 1 Bassoon, 1 Trumpet, 1 French Horn, 1 Trombone, 1 Tuba, 1 Percussion

10 minutes or less duration preferred, but up to 20 minutes will be considered
