Vox Novus is calling for one-minute compositions for double bass written for Matt Hare. Selected works will be premiered in April 2024 in celebration of the 150th anniversary of Serge Koussevitzky's birth at the University of California at Irvine. Works must be submitted online and are required to be premieres. No works over one minute will be considered. Selected works will be broadcasted online to multiple streaming platforms. Matt Hare is a prolific musician, performer, composer, and educator based in Southern California.
