Open Call is a commissioning program for early-career, NYC-based artists at The Shed's inaugural-year program. Selected artists receive up to $15,000 commissioning fee, production support, resources, and exposure. Decentralized selection process by independent leaders. Applications open winter 2026, selections in spring/summer, finalists notified in fall 2026. Projects presented in summer 2027 or 2028 at The Shed. Free admission for all.
