The Museum of Chinese in America's Performing-Artist-in-Residence Program invites performing artists to develop new projects based on the theme of Implied Selves. Selected artists receive a $3,000 honorarium, access to rehearsal spaces and MOCA's archive, and financial support for work-in-progress presentations. Artists must be Asian/Chinese American or immigrants, residents of the NYC metropolitan area, over 25 years old, and not enrolled in any degree programs. They are required to create a new project, participate in workshops, attend monthly check-ins, and present their work in progress internally and to the public.
