The Moores School of Music at the University of Houston is pleased to invite applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position as Professor of Practice in Viola for a Fall 2023 appointment.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated commitment to the future of the art form, including to music performance as an art form that reaches as wide and diverse an audience as possible. The ideal candidate will have aptitude for innovative approaches to teaching and mentoring students, a high level of community involvement, a commitment to collaboration, and a national or international performing career with a track record of recognition and awards.
