Rosetta Call for Scores 2023/2024 'Notation : Mutation' is a call for composers and artists to submit their works for a performance in Kyoto. The theme revolves around exploring new perspectives on music notation and its evolution. Submissions can include traditional staff notation, graphical scores, video notations, verbal notations, or tablatures. The selected works will be showcased in a performance in May 2024. The performance venue is a flat space without a stage, allowing for unconventional ideas that deviate from the typical concert framework. Composers are encouraged to demonstrate creativity and clarity of notation in their submissions. No fee is required for entry.
