Composers Concordance presents the Sean Satin Guitar Prize. Our dear friend and collaborator Sean Satin, a tireless music educator and proponent of contemporary guitar music, passed on April 19th, 2024. We are launching a guitar competition in his honor. The competition is for the best-submitted performance of music for electric and classical guitar composed by some of Sean's colleagues. Contestants record one of the five scores provided. The best performance will win the grand prize of $250 and a performance of the work at Composers Concordance ‘Guitars & Poems’ event in June at Jim Kempner Fine Art in New York City.



Guidelines:

1. Choose 1 of the 5 guitar pieces;
