The prize awards five New Yorkers in any of the five boroughs $200,000 each to support their vision for a better, brighter city. Winners may come from fields as diverse as the arts and creative expression, workforce and economic development, civic engagement, environment and sustainability, immigrant rights, food and nutrition, homeslessness, and/or youth development.
