The West Cork Chamber Music Young Composers’ Competition is open to Irish composers under 35 to submit original works scored for string quartet. Winners receive €1,000, accommodation, and performances at the festival. Entries close on March 12, 2025. Applicants must meet certain age and nationality/residency criteria. Entries must be submitted electronically with a MIDI file. Winning composers must attend the workshop during the festival. Prizes will be withheld in case of non-attendance.
