The Women in the Arts organization is hosting a competition for young women composers of color to create a new composition for orchestra, premiering at the National Women’s Music Festival in July 2026. The composer must be between 21-36 years old and available to attend the festival. The winner will receive $2,000 and travel/lodging for the festival.
