Shiv Goel is a youth climate activist and public speaker with a specialization in sustainable fashion and economics. He has worked in and around the environmental nonprofit industry, having lobbied Congress with the Citizens Climate Lobby and worked in OneUpAction International’s administration as Director of Finance. Recently, Shiv co-founded the Green Consumer Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to promoting sustainable consumerism, of which he is Executive Director. He is also on the Youth Advisory Board for Harvard University’s Making Caring Common project, as well as a Gold recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Shiv is a certified Climate Reality Leader by former Vice President Al Gore’s nonprofit organization, The Climate Reality Project. Shiv has also given over a dozen presentations on climate change and sustainability.
