The 11th Annual Symphonic Jazz Orchestra's George Duke Commissioning Prize offers a $5,000 prize for composers. The newly commissioned work will be premiered by the SJO and included in their catalog. Winner gets a one-year Sibelius Ultimate license. Submission deadline is Aug. 15th.
