Ensemble Forward - Chamber Music America | October 13th Chamber Music America will provide grant funds for ensembles to work with an established chamber music coach to help them develop their distinctive ensemble sound; make career information resources available; and create networking opportunities for ensemble musicians to meet each other, as well as composers and presenters, further enlarging their professional circles.
Artist Residency - Art Omi | October 15th Art Omi: Artists invite artists, critics, and curators from around the world - representing a wide diversity of artistic styles and practices - to gather in rural New York to experiment, collaborate, and share ideas; this includes visual art, sound art, performance, and social performance; scholarships available to help further an artists career as part of the residency program as well; Workspaces include: indoor and protected outdoor studio spaces, a kiln, basic hand tools, and some equipment. The entire center is WiFi equipped. In addition, a shared computer with internet access and a couple of black & white printers is provided. Professional color photography labs are located in nearby Ghent. Bikes are available for residents to explore the surrounding area.

Grant - Houston Arts Alliance | October 31st Applications open on September 30th; $2,500 grant for specific projects that amplify artistic creativity and vision taking place in the city of Houston.
