  1. Ensemble Forward - Chamber Music America | October 13th Chamber Music America will provide grant funds for ensembles to work with an established chamber music coach to help them develop their distinctive ensemble sound; make career information resources available; and create networking opportunities for ensemble musicians to meet each other, as well as composers and presenters, further enlarging their professional circles.

  2. Artist Residency - Art Omi | October 15th Art Omi: Artists invite artists, critics, and curators from around the world - representing a wide diversity of artistic styles and practices - to gather in rural New York to experiment, collaborate, and share ideas; this includes visual art, sound art, performance, and social performance; scholarships available to help further an artists career as part of the residency program as well; Workspaces include: indoor and protected outdoor studio spaces, a kiln, basic hand tools, and some equipment. The entire center is WiFi equipped. In addition, a shared computer with internet access and a couple of black & white printers is provided. Professional color photography labs are located in nearby Ghent. Bikes are available for residents to explore the surrounding area.

  3. Peter Whittingham Jazz Award - Help Musicians | October 17th £5,000 in financial support for composition, performance, collaboration, recording, and more; must be a UK resident; receive one-on-one business advice tailored to your needs

  4. Sphinx Competition - Sphinx | October 20th The Sphinx Competition, held every year in Detroit (MI), is a national competition offering young Black and Latinx classical string players a chance to compete under the guidance of an internationally renowned panel of judges and to perform with and receive mentorship from established professional musicians. Competition date: January 25-28, 2023 Senior Division Prizes (Ages 18 - 30): $5k-$50k Junior Division Prizes (Ages 17 and under): $1k-$10k

  5. Let Creativity Happen! Grant - Houston Arts Alliance | October 31st Applications open on September 30th; $2,500 grant for specific projects that amplify artistic creativity and vision taking place in the city of Houston. This grant is open to individual artists, 501(c)3 organizations, and fiscally sponsored projects. Funding for the grant opportunity is provided through the City of Houston.
