SOZO Fellowship Pilot is a 6-month coaching program for US-based mid-career independent artists, offering sustainability training, entrepreneurship skills, and a $2,000 honorarium. Focus areas include visioning, sustainability, entrepreneurial mindset, creative production, community support, and future opportunities. The program includes group sessions, workshops, 1:1 coaching, and asynchronous learning. Eligible artists must create original work, be mid-career with 6-10 years of experience, commit focused time, and be US citizens, green card, or work visa holders. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and marginalized communities are encouraged to apply. Full-time non-profit cultural sector employees are ineligible. Applications due April 18, 2024.

Invested in the creativity and cultural production of Black artists and arts professionals, this open application program provides artists, curators, journalists and scholars with funding to develop new creative projects.

The Production Residencies supports emerging and career artists in Visual Arts to create new works or work in progress. Special attention to projects blurring boundaries of art objects. 4-week residency in Buenos Aires, Argentina offers facilities and mentorship for personal artistic vision.




Post-Sonic Experiment is accepting submissions for a live performance in June 2024 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Compose for specific instruments, no electronics. No entry fee. Must be under 35 years old. Recording not necessary. No monetary prize, but media material free to use. Submit up to 2 pieces by April 7th, 2024.

ACF is offering commissioning funding for early career music creators in Minnesota or New York City to create new works. Applicants must have a collaborative partner. Awards include $11,000, mentorship, networking, and promotion opportunities.

2024 Student Composition Contest by Luna Nova Music for composers 18+ worldwide. Entries due 4/20/2024, prizes up to $300. Winners performed at Belvedere Chamber Music Festival. No location required.



The Princeton Symphony Orchestra is holding auditions for section violin players. Contract musicians will participate in the subscription series and other events throughout the year. Auditions on May 9, 2024, with preliminary and final rounds. Resumes are due by April 11, 2024.

Audition for saxophone position with The President's Own United States Marine Band.

The Jacki Apple Award in Performance and Artist Projects is open to New York City-based artists specializing in performance art. Mid to late-career artists, including past recipients of the Franklin Furnace FUND for Performance Art, are eligible. The project must be completed within one year of receiving the award.
