Visual Arts


This program offers €4,000–€8,000 for projects where different arts practitioners join forces to define a mutual resource or interest that’s important for their work, and propose how to share or develop it. Priority will be given to proposals taking place within the Arab world.


FishTank Workshop & Gallery is offering a free studio residency in Kings Cross, London, United Kingdom, for London-based young creatives. Applicants will have the opportunity to develop their work, connect with others, and contribute to building a supportive creative community. The program aims to provide a welcoming entry point into the arts by fostering connections with the wider community and youth projects. Eligibility is open to all London-based young creatives.


The City of Waco, TX and Creative Waco seek an artist to create a durable metal sculpture honoring the courage and service of Waco firefighters. Open to professional artists residing in the United States with experience in public art. Budget: $62,000. Must deliver a code-compliant work.


Music


Birmingham Opera Company is seeking composers for short pieces for public performances, paying £2,500 per commission team. They are particularly interested in artists with roots or based in the West Midlands and those from diverse backgrounds. Volunteers may be included in the development and presentation of the work. Deadline for submissions is Friday 13th June 2025.


IGNITE: C4's Commissioning Competition provides composers the chance to create new choral works for C4 in New York City, with a $1,200 award. Composers must submit 2 works by June 15, 2025, with entries reviewed based on various criteria. Eligibility open to all, except current/former C4 members. Finalists compose a new work, engage in the rehearsal process, and could receive a travel stipend. Submit materials online by the deadline.

REPORSHARE

Espacios Sonoros is seeking multichannel electroacoustic works for their festival in Salta, Argentina in September 2025. Open to international and young Latin American composers. No fees. Submissions due June 24th.

Performing Arts


The Liu Shiming Art Foundation announces the 2025 Screening Series Open Call. Theme is 'Everyday Heritage - Cultural Memory in Motion.' Submit moving image works exploring culture, memory, and identity. Selected works showcased in Midtown Manhattan in Summer/Fall 2025, alongside an exhibition by Hank Willis Thomas and Liu Shiming. Deadline: June 20, 2025.


The British Council’s Connections Through Culture (CTC) Grants support artistic collaboration between the UK and select countries in the Asia-Pacific and Europe, offering up to £10000 in funding. Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture. Artists must have at least one UK partner and one partner from eligible countries such as Australia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Mainland China, Indonesia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Viet Nam.
