Visual Arts


The New Art Center at Chestnut Hill Square seeks artists for a bold, site-specific public art installation in Spring 2025. $11,000 compensation. Requires proposed artwork concept, project budget, artist's statement, and previous work examples. Deadline: November 8, 2024.


SNAP Collective Publishing seeks visual artists for free art book publishing opportunity. Artists receive free copies, royalties, and discounts. Submit a portfolio for consideration to stand out in the industry.


The Artist's Book Grant is a residency for artists to create limited edition book works, offering $350/week stipend, materials allowance, travel funds, and studio access.


 



 

Music


Friends of Chamber Music BCS Texas seeks emerging and mid-career artists to compose a new work for a chamber music competition. The winning composer will have their piece premiered at the World Shakuhachi Festival 2025.


City of Oxford Choir seeks new choral work on palaeontology theme. £1000 prize, premiere performance at Oxford University Museum of Natural History.


The University of Nebraska at Kearney is hosting the 2025 New Music Festival centered on Deep Listening. Seeking submissions of musical scores and proposals. No submission fee. Select performers from UNK faculty, students, and ensemble.


 

Performing Arts


Winter Film Festival 2025 - NYC | November 8th, 2024

The Winter Film Festival in NYC is seeking submissions from emerging filmmakers in various genres like documentary, narrative, horror, music video, animation, and web series. The festival aims to celebrate diversity in film and provide a platform for under-represented artists. All selected films will be screened at LOOK Cinemas in New York City, and filmmakers will receive recognition through press coverage and interviews. Films completed after January 1, 2022, in English or with English subtitles are eligible to submit. Early bird, regular, and late submission deadlines are available.
