The Künstler*dorf Schöppingen Foundation offers a residency opportunity for professional visual artists, writers, and composers, lasting between two and six months. The scholarship includes €1,500 per month, with additional costs for rent and operating expenses. Applicants of all nationalities and ages, including collectives, are eligible to apply. Jentel Artist Residency Winter/Spring Sessions - Jentel Arts | September 15, 2026
The Jentel Artist Residency offers dedicated individuals a supportive environment to further their creative development. Nestled in the foothills of the Bighorn mountains, artists, writers, and composers experience unfettered time for thoughtful reflection and meditation. Eligible applicants must be over 25 and US residents. Each resident receives a $300 stipend for living expenses. Categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture.

Call for Submissions - Milwaukee Sonic Arts Festival| August 30, 2026
Milwaukee Sonic Arts Festival is seeking submissions of experimental electronic music and sonic art. Features performances by Alex Weir and Jennifer Clippert. No submission fee. Event on October 24th, 2026 at UWM, featuring concerts, presentations, and workshops. Submission deadline August 30th.
Unison Chamber Music Collective Call for Emerging Composers! | August 31, 2026
Unison Chamber Music Collective is now accepting applications for our 2026–2027 Emerging Composers Commissioning Program.
We will select up to five composers to create new chamber works inspired by the theme Metamorphosis. Selected composers will receive an $800 commissioning fee, mentorship and workshops with professional musicians, a public performance, and a professional recording of their work.
At Unison, we believe new music belongs everywhere. Through our commissioning program, new works are premiered in shelters, recovery centers, and correctional facilities as part of our mission to reimagine where classical music is presented and who it is for.
Composers of any age are encouraged to apply. Black, Latinx, and gender-diverse composers are especially encouraged to submit.
Composer Opportunity - Manhattan Choral Ensemble| September 15, 2026
The Manhattan Choral Ensemble is seeking composers for a short work related to New York City. Criteria, requirements, and compensation are detailed. Composers must submit proposals meeting specific guidelines for a chance to win a commissioning fee and a performance opportunity.
