VISUAL ART


Innovate Grant offers $1,800.00 grants to visual artists and photographers. The application process is simplified, and selected winners and honorable mentions will have their work promoted. Visual artists and photographers from all around the world, 18 years and older, are eligible to apply.


The Alexander Brest Gallery at Jacksonville University is seeking exhibition proposals for the 2024-2025 season. The gallery welcomes proposals for various types of artwork and both solo and group exhibitions. The location is in Jacksonville, FL, with a beautiful riverfront setting and close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. The deadline for proposals is December 15, 2023. The requirements include a detailed exhibition narrative, CV/resume, and image list. High-resolution images are required, and video/audio work must include online streaming links. Student engagement activities are also encouraged. The opportunity is open to artists in the continental US, and group/team applications are allowed with specified guidelines. The Orange County Public Art Review Board is commissioning a $77,600 budget for one or more artists or artist team(s) to develop artwork for Orange County’s Innovation Lab located in the suburb of Pine Hills.

 



 

MUSIC


The MISE-EN Music Festival is accepting submissions for composers to participate in their 10th-anniversary festival in New York City. There are general and special submission categories, including works for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, large ensembles, electronics, and a special concert and symposium centered around the theme of 'Against Art Music: Music for People's Liberation.' Composers can submit proposals for papers, panel discussions, workshops, or concert performances. No application fee is required. Selected composers will be notified on January 15, 2024. The festival will take place from June 19 to June 23, 2024.


NYC-area Composers Choral Music Competition seeking submissions for a new composition for SATB chorus. Winners receive $750 award and performance by Manhattan Choral Ensemble.


We want our Teaching Artists (TA) to work collaboratively and independently to ensure students are making steady progress on their music literacy skills and can manage their class to create a safe, welcoming, and rigorous environment in their classrooms.

We provide a $400 stipend per program with the cost of transportation reimbursed.

 

PERFORMING ARTS


MAP Fund 2024 Grant Cycle - MAP | December 19th, 2023

In this grant cycle, MAP will distribute $2.8M to more than 90 new live performance projects. Each selected team will receive a $25,000 grant for the creation of a performance project, a $5,000 unrestricted general operating grant, and a $1,000 micro-grant to redistribute to an artist in their community.


$100-$500 grants to be used toward any career-advancing projects or purposes. The grants are awarded weekly with the intention of breaking down the financial barriers of pursuing a performance career. Applicants must create a Stagetime Profile.
