Visual Arts

REP

The City of Louisville, CO seeks an artist to design/install a sculpture commemorating Mary Trebing. Celebrate local history and diversity in a public park setting. Open to artists in Colorado. Budget: $30,000.


The Prince Claus Fund Seed Award recognizes 100 emerging talents and offers €5,000 to invest in creative work addressing urgent social and political issues. Open to early career artists globally without much institutional support.


Design competition for the UK's first memorial to journalists in conflict zones. Open to UK-based artists and sculptors. Budget is £550,000.


Emmanuel College Art Department offers a six-week summer artist residency to four artists in ceramics, photography, printmaking, and social practice. Each artist receives a $1500 stipend, studio space, opportunity for an on-campus exhibition, and must donate one piece to the college. Artists must not be enrolled in an academic program, be on-site for the duration, contribute to the community, and participate in the summer art history course. International artists may be eligible for additional travel and visa reimbursement. Application materials include resume, artist statement, portfolio images, and project proposal.



Performing Arts

OurSong Atlanta is hosting a composition competition for a song cycle celebrating LGBTQIA+ stories through music. Composers encouraged to reflect extraordinary in the ordinary. Open to all regardless of background.


RAM and Queens New Music Festival announce Composition Competition for trio music. No fee, anonymous submissions with no age or geographic limitations. Requirements include 6-20 minute piece, written in the past 10 years. Winning compositions performed in Queens, NY. Email submission only.
