Visual Arts


Art Fluent invites global artists to submit artwork for IMPERMANENCE online exhibit celebrating temporary beauty. Entries due by February 21, 2025, $750 Best of Show. Online gallery opens March 21. Juried by Amy Matteson Neill. Notable rules and regulations apply including tax withholding on winnings. Sales inquiries directed to artists, portion of fees donated to arts organizations. The Smithsonian’s Archives of American Art Internships offer a $6,500 stipend for full-time, ten-week summer internships. Part-time internships available with pro-rated stipends during the academic year and summer. Eligible for students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs or recent graduates within six months.


Dharamkot Studio offers a Winter Artist Residency Program in Dharamkot village, Himachal Pradesh. Flexible stay of 1-3 weeks, with private accommodation, meals, and access to art spaces. Fully funded and self-funded categories available. Requires artistic quality, project proposal, diversity, potential impact, and suitability for the environment. Music


Flute Choir Call for Scores - NFA | February 12th, 2025

Composers submit original flute choir works, winner performed at NFA Convention in rotation. No prize money. Guidelines at website. Application portal opens in December.


The ELECTROWAVE '25 festival is seeking electroacoustic works for a special concert. No restrictions on creators. Free public events.


Classical trumpet opportunity to play for the United States Air Force band. Competitive salary, benefits, and pension. Must pass physical and mental exams and background check.


 

Performing Arts


The Performing Arts Grant Program by Tri-M Foundation supports innovative projects in dance and theater by regional non-profit arts organizations. Projects must focus on unique regional perspectives, new works, and bold choices. The grant is for small to medium size non-profit arts organizations and individual artists under specific eligibility criteria. The grant funds new works, regional premieres, touring, and development of new performing arts mediums. Applications must be submitted between December 2024 and February 2025 for projects happening between August 2025 and July 2026. The grant does not support multi-year projects, volunteer labor, youth theater, or projects outside the U.S.


Grant Park Music Festival is seeking an Assistant Concertmaster for the 2025 season. Application deadlines vary per position, and the 2025 season offers a regular weekly salary of $1,877.23 plus benefits. Audition protocols prioritize professional standards and legal work eligibility.
